Guidelines to the web Accessibility
As we all are aware that no one is appointed to check the web. The web is an unbolted standard; a web is a place where the person has no limitations on his postings and is free to choose the content of their choice. The web is not restricted to limited people, but everyone is free to use it. The main strength of the web is its decentralization and it openness. But it is unable to work without few types of formats that are used for upgrading the information. That is when the (W3C) the World Wide Web consortium came into existence.
The World Wide Web consortium is termed to be an international vendor neutral unit that settles the protocols and maintains the web standards. This team has created software’s such as HTML, XML, XHTML, SMIL, CSS, SVG, and a mass of several different acronyms that are related to various types of markup languages. Many people might have heard of HTML that is the Hyper Text Markup Language. Mainly all the primary web letters are been written in HTML or XHTML that is the extensible Hyper Text Markup Language which is mainly a modification, XML established description of HTML.
As the web reached the maturity stage, the associates of the World Wide Web consortium recognized that they required making terms to make sure that people with fewer qualifications were not barred from using it. After this awareness, the Web Accessibility Initiative that is WAI was introduced. The WAI was formed with a working team that drafts few strategies that makes sure that no disability come while accessing the Web contents. These guiding principles are called as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines or the WCAG.
W3C accessibility team created WCAG 2.0 working draft, the final call for commentators to post their remarks and advices on various matters for the fresh standards.
